Silverneedle Ventures (SNV) is a sector-agnostic early-stage technology fund that partners with entrepreneurs to increase their probability of success through an active hands-on approach. SNV was launched in Sept 2022 with a target corpus of USD 15 Million and is already 45%+ subscribed. SNV would invest in Pre-Series A/Series A round of early-stage startups focused on B2B SaaS, Deeptech, Sustainability, and D2C/Consumer Internet. SNV aims to invest in 25-30 early-stage startups & has earmarked about 35% of the corpus to double down on our select high conviction bets.
SNV is founded by Ajay Jain, who also founded Xseed Partners (seed stage fund, deployed capital across 25 companies, IRR of 47% and MOIC of 7X). The core team is based out of Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Silicon Valley (US). SNV is backed by domestic and global investors which include family offices and institutional investors. The investors bring in expertise from diverse domains and industries. The fund has a feeder/pooling vehicle in the US for global investors.
