Active Element of Laser made of Yttrium Alumino Garnet (YAG) Activated Neodium, GS-4X65/55-D73 (Technical Specification: TU-6-09-4622-87) for MB (T-90) is a specific type of very precise and accurate rhombus type laser accuracy of the order of X/10 or better.

Being a specific type of CW (continuous wave) laser Rod, it is being used to generate laser to guide the Missile Fired.

Future Expectation from the prototype / Technology developed

As of now the laser Rod is not being manufactured in India.
