Indigenization of Bearing Time Device (BTD) which is currently imported

• Bearing Time device (BTD) is a 19” touchscreen and its Graphical User Interface (GUI) running at Combat/Weapon Control system and is used to display Bearing time for Combat/Weapon Control and Sonar Operators. BTD is getting plotting commands from both Combat/Weapon Control and Sonar Operators through dedicated LAN Network.
• To indigenously design and develop the Bearing Time Device (BTD) for the submarines with minimum 50 % indigenized content and should be of latest manufacture, conform to the current production standard and should have 100% of the defined life at the time of delivery.
• This indigenized Bearing Time Device (BTD) will be fitted on-board on successful completion of Land based trials for submarine environment.
