Indigenisation of Noise Generators for submarines which is currently imported

• Design and development of Internal Noise Generator System which is used to modify the acoustic signature of a submarine during entering and leaving harbour of the foreign port.
• Design and development of External Acoustic Generator system which is used to validate the various Sonar sensors fitted onboard Scorpene Submarines.

Future Expectation from the prototype / Technology developed

1. Internal Noise Generator System can be used in all the submarines.
2. External Acoustic Generator system can be used as sonar test and trial tools for all the submarines.
