Helicopter-Mounted Anti-Drone System

1- Indian Army Aviation helicopters (Attack, Utility and Reconnaissance roles) are vulnerable to emerging small- Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) threats due to the following reasons:- 2- Increasing employment of drones by adversaries. 3-Modern drone tactics include silent ambush modes and Kamikaze style attacks. 4- No onboard system providing early warning of drones in vicinity. 5- Absence of drone detection sensors capable of identifying incoming FPV drones, commercial drones and capability to jam or destroy the drones.
