Technology Domain: Naval systems & Marine Technology The Light Weight Taut Wire system provides accurate measurements of a vessel’s movement relative to a fixed known point in the fore-aft (along-ship) and port-starboard (athwart-ship) directions. The scope involves the design and manufacture of a depressor weight suitable for naval ships equipped with a dynamic positioning system.
