Design and manufacture of Anodes for Bow thrusters on ships

Technology Domain: Naval systems & Marine TechnologyThe sacrificial aluminum anodes are mounted on the thruster tunnels of the ship to protect the thrusters from electrolytic corrosion. The scope of this work involves the design and development of equivalent anodes—matching the existing anodes in weight and fixing arrangement—to replace the currently imported anodes used on Indian Navy (IN) vessels.
